A focused walk-through with Matt, Director of Rival Building Group, to understand your goals, constraints, and design intent. During this session, we’ll explore your goals, site conditions, and key design considerations while discussing how to keep cost and constructibility aligned. Within a couple of days, you’ll receive a concise Probable Cost Range outlining scope, risks, and next steps.

Every project moves forward differently depending on where your drawings and documentation sit. If your plans are ready, we’ll move straight into detailed pricing. If your design is still evolving, we’ll guide you through Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) to align design, cost, and constructability from the start.

A streamlined pre-construction phase that keeps design, cost, and constructability aligned from the beginning. Through ECI, we stay closely involved as your design evolves—reviewing drawings, managing consultants, and providing real-time cost guidance. The result is a complete, build-ready package with no surprises and a clear path to a fixed proposal.

We work closely with our trusted network of long-term trades and suppliers to develop a transparent, accurate proposal. You’ll receive a clear document outlining exactly what’s included, supported by a detailed project schedule. It’s a fixed offer that reflects the true scope and cost of your build, ready for contract.

We execute a standard domestic building contract and move into the pre-start phase. Pre-start is about setting the project up for a seamless build—finalising documentation, confirming selections, and locking in communication and coordination with all parties. Once complete, everything is ready for site start.

Once permits and documentation are in place, we set up the site and get to work. From day one, our focus is precision, communication, and respect for your home. You’ll know what’s happening and when, without needing to chase updates. Expect dedicated site supervision, clear communication, and a detail-driven build from start to finish. The same trusted team you met at the beginning delivers every stage—no handovers, no shortcuts.

As we near completion, we conduct a full internal quality review before inviting you for a final walk-through of your finished home. All compliance and certification are finalised so your new space is ready without delay. You’ll receive the keys to a beautifully finished home, built to our standards.
